Identify a payment card from its BIN/IIN (Bank Identification Number — the leading 6-8 digits). Pass the BIN or the first digits of a card number and get the card brand (Visa, Mastercard, …), card type (debit/credit), category, issuing bank, and country (ISO alpha-2 + name). Longest-prefix match against an open community dataset (CC-BY). The BIN identifies the issuer/brand/country only — never the cardholder or account number.
