Four of Every Five Dollars Flowing Into Listed x402 Wallets Settled Outside the Protocol
We checked how the money actually arrives. Real x402 payments on Base settle through a facilitator as EIP-3009 authorized transfers, and that mechanism is visible on-chain in every transaction. Measured across our full catalog on one day: 78% of currently-active listed sellers settle on-protocol, but roughly 80% of the dollars do not.
